INTERVIEW - Fluix looking to grow further in wind, adding more features

Fluix is a no-code platform that helps companies to gather reliable data, automate routine tasks and digitise processes, save labour hours and manual effort related to paperwork. We recently spoke with Julia Nikolaenko, Executive Director of Fluix, about what the company can do for the renewable energy industry.

“Pretty much any company with a field team and a variety of business processes can benefit from Fluix’s solutions. Any business that wishes to improve field-to-office collaboration and the quality of collected data will like the platform. Fluix is a horizontal workflow solution, but we have quite a significant track record of energy companies, renewable energy in particular, using the product.

“The key use cases are wind turbine installation, maintenance and service when field technicians do regular inspections and checks to ensure quality and safety, as well as extend the life of wind turbines.”

Fluix has been working with multiple teams in renewable energy projects since 2013. The list includes major players like Vestas, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, RWE and Eolus Wind. The company’s platform ensures a unified document management process and it can help speed up project delivery, reduce wind turbine inspection time and increase field employees engagement.

Asked about the future and Fluix’s priority projects this year, Nikolaenko said: “Our goal is to build an even stronger brand for Fluix in the wind power industry and bring new customers onboard, hence we are investing more in marketing and sales.”

“The product is constantly evolving. Lately, we’ve had a major product update that expanded Fluix’s offering to both existing and potential customers, adding features like tasks management and HTML forms support. The next step is adding embedded Power BI data analytics directly to the Fluix dashboard and exploring additional business intelligence features. Lastly, we’re trying to create a well-rounded workflow solution, hence we plan to bring Fluix to Android.”

To date, Fluix has mostly targeted North America, the EU, Southeast Asia and Australia. The only geographic limitations involve countries under sanctions by the US government - Cuba, Iran, North Korea.
