Sonnedix buys 80-MW solar farm in Italy, more purchases to follow
Sep 19, 2024 14:32 CEST(SeeNews) – Oct 27, 2014 – Italian photovoltaic (PV) systems manufacturer Enertronica (BIT:ENT) said today it was awarded a contract worth some EUR-1-million (USD 1.3m) to design and build an innovative battery-driven photovoltaic (PV) energy accumulation facility in Eritrea.
The plant is commissioned by the Eritrean Government to Enertronica in the capacity of a parent company of a consortium including Rossi Impianti Srl. It is in fact a small smart grid that would guarantee the electricity needs of the Eritrean Centre for Organisational Excellence (ERCOE).
The facility will be built in 2015.
