Aukera buys 46-MW solar-storage project in Germany
Sep 16, 2024 12:57 CESTJun 29, 2012 - UK clean fuel firm ITM Power plc (LON:ITM) said Friday it would partner with a unit of precision fluid measurement devices maker IMI plc (LON:IMI) to develop 700-bar and 350-bar hydrogen refuelling devices for the German transportation market.
The company has signed an agreement with IMI's German subsidiary Hochdruck-Reduziertechnik GmbH (GHR), whose mobile 700-bar and 350-bar hydrogen dispensers have already been present in Germany for the past few years. The deal will allow ITM Power to integrate its hydrogen generation system with GHR's product in order to provide a complete solution for renewable, 700-bar hydrogen refuelling in Germany. The 700-bar refuelling is a crucial feature for the hydrogen-powered vehicles as carmakers have settled on this higher pressure for their fuel cell-powered vehicles to be launched in Germany.
ITM Power and GHR will collaborate on providing a fully-certified solution, which will initially be used for demonstration purposes and tendering prior to commercial production launch.
