J-Power, Yamna to collaborate on green hydrogen projects Source: Mainspring Energy.

Japanese electric utility Electric Power Development Co Ltd (TYO:9513), known as J-Power, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with UK-based YamnaCo Ltd for the joint development and investment in green hydrogen and derivatives projects around the world.

Under the partnership announced today by both companies, they will either work together on projects that are part of Yamna’s existing pipeline or will jointly create new ones.

Yamna said it focuses on the most concrete and imminent use-cases of green hydrogen and derivatives projects, such as green ammonia production in regions with export opportunities.

The partners will sign specific agreements for the projects they plan to engage in.
