Chinese solar products maker JA Solar Technology Co Ltd (SHE:002459) has signed memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with three Pakistani companies, outlining deals for the supply of 600 MW of its n-type solar photovoltaic modules.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Chinese modules maker said it had signed MoU agreements with Garibsons, Pakistan's largest rice exporter, SM Solar, a subsidiary of textile and power sector company Nishat Chunian Group, and Wasiq Traders.

Wasiq Traders, an importer of PV modules and inverters, will become JA Solar’s distributor through its MoU.

Garibsons’ and SM Solar’s agreements are part of those companies commitments to sustainable development and the use of renewable energy.

JA Solar introduced its first n-type module product in 2022. This was followed by the launch of the new generation n-type module DeepBlue 4.0 Pro, which boasts a maximum production power of 635W and a conversion efficiency of 22.8%, according to the manufacturer.
