Chinese solar products supplier JinkoSolar Holding Co Ltd (NYSE:JKS) said on Friday it will supply 57.65 MW of photovoltaic (PV) panels for a solar project in Isabela municipality, Puerto Rico.

The order was made by engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firm Metka-Egn, which is building the solar park for Oriana LLC, owned by a unit of the Sonnedix group of companies.

"METKA-EGN is pleased to collaborate with JinkoSolar on the completion of the largest solar PV project in Puerto Rico,” said Nikos Papapetrou, CEO of METKA-EGN.

Earlier this month, Oriana said that construction work on a solar farm in Isabela had commenced. It said it will invest more than USD 160 million (EUR 141m) in the project. Grid connection is scheduled for August 2016.
