Chinese solar module maker JinkoSolar Holding Co Ltd (NYSE:JKS) has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to supply 200 MW of modules for Ireland-based online solar products wholesaler Failte Energy Solutions Limited.

The agreement concerns JinkoSolar’s Tiger Neo solar modules which will be distributed to installers through Failte Solar for residential and commercial solar rooftop installations.

The two companies have also agreed to cooperate in complementary fields such as products and localised services, as well as to jointly develop the high-end distributed PV market in Ireland, according to a statement released on Monday.

“This [partnership] underlines the strategic importance of bilateral relationships between EU and China to further promote the renewable energy development in Europe,” said Frank Niendorf, General Manager of JinkoSolar Europe.
