Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTJune 21 (RenewablesNow) - JinkoSolar Holding Co Ltd (NYSE:JKS) today said it will deliver a 1.2-MWh, all-in-one modular solution for energy storage in West Africa.
The new solution includes batteries, a power conditioning system (PCS), DC modular, switch cabinets and EMS software. According to JinkoSolar, it provides improved system efficiency, lower balance of plant costs and clipped solar recapture.
The company says that this DC-coupled solution is suitable for projects of different scale and in different environmental conditions. This particular storage project is one of the first for the company of this scale, on a global basis, using DC-coupling.
