PNE wins 24 MW of onshore wind projects in German auction
Sep 19, 2024 8:35 CESTFeb 18, 2013 - German renewable projects developer Juwi installed nearly 250 MW of wind capacity in Germany last year, reaching a market share of over 10% in the new onshore wind facilities, oekonews.at reported today.
In the last two weeks of December alone, Juwi put 16 wind turbines online, founder and CEO Matthias Willenbacher was quoted as saying.
The company contributed to the expansion of onshore wind energy in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, which raised its capacity by 288 MW in annual terms. Juwi completed the wind park with the highest capacity in southwest Germany, of 53 MW, in May 2012.
In 2012, Juwi also made headway with its international operations. The company finished a 30-MW wind farm in Minnesota and installed 17 wind turbines with combined capacity of 15.3 MW in Costa Rica, near the capital of San Hose.
