Danish renewables consultancy K2 Management announced today it has secured the owner’s engineer role for two onshore wind projects with a combined capacity of 350 MW in Vietnam’s Gia Lai province.

Local renewables developer TSV Investment JSC has hired K2 to deliver engineering advice for the 175-MW Kong Yang and 175-MW Cu An projects, which are set to get support from the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

More specifically, K2 will conduct energy yield assessment analysis and wind turbine generator selection and will also manage the procurement process. All of this will help optimise project returns.

Both projects are seen to become operational in 2023.
