PRISTINA (Kosovo), October 22 (SeeNews) – Slovenian engineering company Rudis has launched a photovoltaic (PV) installation with an installed capacity of 102 kW in Kosovo, the first such facility in the country, the economy ministry said.

The installation was put up in Gjurgjevik te Madh, in the municipality of Kline, the ministry said in a statement posted on Wednesday on its website.

In a separate statement Rudis said it plans to increase almost three times the capacity of the PV installation, and has already obtained preliminary approval from the energy regulatory agency in Kosovo, ERO, for the planned move.
