(ADPnews) - May 5, 2010 - Liechtenstein-based construction machinery maker Hilti Group said today it has acquired US photovoltaic (PV) mounting solutions provider Unirac Inc from private equity firm Global Environment Fund (GEF) for an undisclosed amount.

The deal will help Hilti expand its North American business, while Unirac will benefit from the company's global network.

New Mexico-based Unirac, which has a headcount of nearly 100, will keep its current name and management structure. It has boosted its revenues by 55% annually since GEF acquired it in 2006.
