Longi lands 1 GW of new solar module orders in Bangladesh Source: Longi Green Energy Technology (www.en.longi-solar.com).

Chinese solar modules supplier Longi Green Energy Technology Co Ltd (SHA:601012), or Longi Solar, has signed a total of 1 GW in new orders in Bangladesh during the month of June, it announced on Thursday.

The company has signed the contracts at a series of events over three days in the capital of Dhaka. It did not give details about the new projects.

So far, Longi has equipped the 73-MW Mymensingh solar power plant and the 134.3-MW Mongla facility in Bangladesh and has an existing order from the Beximco consortium for 280 MW of solar panels for a ground-mounted installation to be completed in mid-2022.
