OX2 taps CJR Renewables to build 99.2-MW wind farm in Romania
Sep 18, 2024 15:06 CESTLUKERG Renew, a 50/50 joint venture between Italy’s ERG Renew and Russia’s LUKOIL-Ecoenergo, is in the process of acquiring a 84 megawatt wind farm in Romania on a ready to build basis, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said.
"The acquisition process is expected to be completed by October 2012 upon effectiveness of all project permits," EBRD said on its website on Saturday.
EBRD is contemplating providing a loan on a limited recourse basis to the project company, 100% owned by Lukerg, to be used towards the construction costs of the wind farm.
EBRD said it is seeking a consultant to perform the role of lender's engineer.
The wind farm's facilities are located in three localities in the southeastern county of Tulcea - Dorobantu, Topolog and Casimcea.
