Macedonian farming company ZK Pelagonija [MSE:ZPKO] invested 20 million euro ($21.7 million) in a biogas plant and cow farm, the country's government said on Friday.

The biogas plant, with a capacity of 3 MWh, has absorbed 10.5 million euro in investments, the government said on its website.

A further 9.78 million euro went to purchase livestock for the farm.

ZK Pelagonija's main line of business is production of wheat, barley, sunflower, oil seed rape, and corn, sheep and cattle breeding, and fruit growing.
