Mage Sunovation unveils glass-and-plastic PV modules

(ADPnews) - Jun 27, 2011 - German photovoltaic (PV) module maker Mage Sunovation GmbH presented hybrid modules of glass and plastic developed for building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) applications.

The new range of modules is an alternative to the popular BIPV solutions made of glass. The modules are available in a transparent variation or tinted in different colours. The modules have the advantage of small weight and can be designed in a variety of ways, Mage Sunovation said. They allow the simultaneous use of light-emitting diode (LED) technology on building facades.
