Solarvest lands USD-26m solar EPCC job in Malaysia, posts profit bump
Sep 03, 2024 8:58 CEST(SeeNews) – Dec 15, 2011 – Malaysia's Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) on Wednesday introduced new upper limits for applications for feed-in approvals (FiAs) for solar photovoltaic (PV) arrays, Malaysian national news agency Bernama said yesterday.
SEDA's CEO, Badriyah Abdul Malek, said the new cap for FiA applications for solar PV for individuals would be 12 kW. The cap for non-individuals would be either at 500 kW per application or, when it comes to larger PV installations, at 5 MW.
The CEO said SEDA revised the caps in order to avoid oversubscription and bolster competition and transparency in the feed-in tariff scheme.
