KKR fund increases tender offer price for Greenvolt
Sep 19, 2024 15:32 CESTOct 7, 2013 - The capacity installed abroad by Martifer Solar, a unit of Portuguese diversified holding group Martifer (ELI:MAR), already hit some 400 MW, Martifer Solar chief operating officer Gustavo Fernandes said.
More precisely, the firm installed outside Portugal 475 photovoltaic systems, he added.
According to Fernandes, there are signs for a growth of the activities in the solar power sector mainly outside Europe this year. The investments in Europe's solar power projects are seen to continue to decrease due to recent measures imposed by the European Commission. Meanwhile, the demand in Latin America and Asia for solar energy is expected to increase.
Martifer Solar is working on a 38-MW project in Mexico, Fernandes reminded.
The company, which employs 400 people, is present in 25 countries on four continents.
