IEA urges proactive measures to integrate renewables
Sep 18, 2024 11:17 CESTNov 9, 2012 - US wind power technology firm Mass Megawatts Wind Power Inc (OTC:MMMW) today said it would establish a division for retail sales of green power in northeastern US in December.
The move will diversify the company's business model and improve its earnings potential, it said.
Through the new business unit Mass Megawatts will offer discounted power supply rates to commercial and residential users in several states including Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois. The company intends to launch its power plans at 10% discount to current rates for 90% of power users in the seven states in a few weeks.
Mass Megawatts added that it had launched initial marketing activities in Massachusetts earlier this month.
