Cero reaches commercial operations at 100-MW solar farm in Greece
Sep 02, 2024 15:01 CESTAug 1, 2013 - Swiss clean advisory services provider Meeco Group said on Tuesday its Greek subsidiary Meeco Services Hellas had connected a 400 kW solar plant to the local grid.
The solar plant is located in the town of Oropos in the municipality of East Attica. It is split into four projects with a 100 kWp nominal power capacity each.
The solar park, which was completed in the second quarter of 2013, is expected to generate 580,000 kWh of clean electricity per year, enough to offset 342,200 kilograms of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions annually.
The plant benefits from a feed-in tariff of EUR 0.42 (USD 0.56) per kWh, which is part of a 20-year policy.
