China’s Mingyang Smart Energy Group Ltd (SHA:601615) said on Tuesday that it has secured an order to supply its turbines for a 150-MW wind farm project in eastern Serbia.

The proposed Black Peak project will carry 25 units of Minyang’s 6.25-172 onshore wind turbines, which the company says it is its widely deployed model.

The wind farm will be located outside of the city of Bor, at a site where average wind speeds reach 7.4 metres (24.3 ft) per second at 107.5-metre height. These conditions will enable the Black Peak wind farm to generate some 465 GWh of electricity annually, Minyang said.
