Montenegro's Vjetroelektrane plans to launch construction of Rezevici WPP in late 2015 - media

PODGORICA (Montenegro), November 7 (SeeNews) – Montenegrin company Vjetroelektrane, part of Germany’s wpd group, is expected to launch the construction of a 100 million euro ($125.2 million) wind park in December 2015, Podgorica-based media reported on Friday.

The 50 megawatt (MW) wind park at Rezevici, on the Adriatic coast, will comprise 25 turbines, daily Pobjeda reported, quoting Vjetroelektrane director Golub Senic.

A 80-meter wind measuring pole has been set up in Rezevici and the results are expected to become available in May next year. Based on that data, the best location for the deployment of the power turbines will be determined, Senic said.

Wpd is a developer and operator of wind farms with operations in 20 countries, including Croatia and Romania.
