Moody's discontinues ratings on LDK Solar

(SeeNews) – Aug 26, 2011 – Moody's pulled Friday the B1 corporate family rating (CFR) and B2 senior unsecured bond rating on Chinese solar wafers maker LDK Solar Company Ltd.

The agency said it removed the CFR for its own business reasons.

The termination of the senior unsecured bond rating reflects LDK Solar's decision not to proceed with its planned bond issue, Moody's added.

Ratings in Moody's B range imply "high credit risk".
