North Macedonia's energy regulator said it has granted a licence to local food company Vitaminka AD Prilep [MSE:VITA] to install two photovoltaic power plants with a combined capacity of 609.68 kW.

The Vitaminka 1 PV plant will have an installed capacity of 184.08 kW, while Vitaminka 2 will have a capacity of 425.60 kW, North Macedonia's Energy and Water Services Regulatory Commission said in a statement on Tuesday.

The licence, which is valid for 35 years, will allow Vitaminka to produce electricity for sale on the open market, .

Vitaminka is specialised in the production of chocolate confectionery and crisp snacks.
