Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTSARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), January 23 (SeeNews) – Nine companies have applied to obtain construction permits for as many photovoltaic (PV) power plants and two have applied to build small hydro power plants in Bosnia’s Muslim-Croat Federation, the entity's energy ministry said on Friday.
Applications for construction permits for PV plants have been submitted by local companies PTP Sola, Kalim profil, Kalim, Orkan 1, Elcom, Eco Energy, Compt-IT, Door-Design and DSM-Trade, the Federation's energy ministry said in a statement posted on its website.
The capacity of the planned PV plants varies from 12.5 kW to 149.76 kW, with planned annual production ranging from 15.27 MWh to 187 MWh.
Grid BH and Eko-Energy applied for permits to build one small hydro power plant each. Grid BH plans to build a plant with an installed capacity of 2,795 kW and an annual production of 13,134 MWh, while Eko-Energy intends to build a plant with a capacity of 980 kW and annual production of 4,007 MWh.
The Muslim-Croat Federation is one of the two entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other is the Serb Republic.
