German wind turbine maker Nordex SE (ETR:NDX1) has clinched deals to deliver 245 MW of its machines for projects in France and Turkey, days after it was awarded a 265-MW contract to equip several wind farms in Spain.

The manufacturer said on Wednesday that the latest deals were secured at the end of June and encompass a total of 17 projects.

In France, Nordex will deliver 35 turbines in the 3-MW and 4-MW class for nine wind farms. The name of the customer and details about the projects were kept under wraps. The manufacturer has also been contracted in Turkey to supply nine units of its N163/6.X machines and a further nine turbines in the 4-MW and 5-MW classes for eight projects with a combined capacity of 113 MW.

All orders call for Nordex to service the hardware. The wind farms are planned to become operational at the end of this year or during 2025.

Last week, European renewables developer-operator Aquila Clean Energy purchased 265 MW of Nordex turbines for eight of its projects in Spain. The equipment will power wind farms in the southern provinces of Granada and Almeria.
