Nordex wins order to deliver turbines for 43-MW wind park in Ireland
Sep 12, 2024 10:12 CESTDec 9, 2013 - German Nordex SE (ETR:NDX1) has received a follow-up order from Irish ESB International for the installation of a 20-MW wind farm.
The 'Woodhouse' wind park is located in the south-eastern part of the island close to the town of Dungarvan. Nordex will erect five N100 and three N90 turbines with a capacity of 2.5 MW each. The park will be built in the autumn of 2014.
Nordex has so far installed a total of four wind farms for ESB in Ireland with a combined capacity of 67.5 MW.
The German company said it had installed a total of 138 turbines in Ireland with a capacity of 340 MW since 2002.
Financial terms of the deal were not provided.
