German wind turbine maker Nordex SE (ETR:NDX1) on Tuesday announced a bundle of orders to deliver its machines for 102 MW of wind farm projects in Turkey.

The five deals were placed by Turkish platform Akfen Renewable Energy Inc, the renewables arm of Turkey-based conglomerate Akfen Holding.

The German manufacturer will supply and install 19 turbine generators from its Delta4000 series for projects that will add more capacity to five existing wind parks. The machines will be installed on tubular steel towers with hub heights of between 83 metres and 125 metres. Specifically, five of the N149/5.X turbines will be installed at the extension of the Hasanoba wind park and another five turbines will be erected to boost the capacity of the Kocalar wind park, both located in northwestern Turkey. Nine more N133/4800 turbines will be installed at wind farms in the western province of Denizli, Saritepe in the south, and Ucpinar in the northwest of the country.

Nordex will start delivering the hardware in the autumn of 2025.

The five deals include premium service agreements that call for Nordex to oversee the turbines’ operations over 10 years. This option can be prolonged by five more years.
