German wind turbines maker Nordex SE (ETR:NDX1) on Tuesday announced several orders to deliver hardware for 363 MW of wind projects in the Balkans and the Mediterranean region.

Under a contract in Spain, the manufacturer will supply 149 MW of its machines for two projects at unnamed locations. It expects the installation of turbines to begin in the spring and summer seasons of next year.

After stepping in the Serbian market last year, Nordex has secured an order from an unnamed customer to equip a 95-MW wind farm in the Balkan country. Its Delta4000 series turbines are planned to be installed onsite in 2024.

The German company also obtained additional orders for projects in France, Italy and Portugal, which calls for it to deliver turbines with a combined capacity of 119 MW. The deals came in the last days of the second quarter, Nordex said without disclosing financial details and the names of its clients.

“We continue to see high demand in several markets within Europe,” said Patxi Landa, chief sales officer of the Nordex Group.
