German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex SE (ETR:NDX1) said on Thursday that an unnamed customer has recently awarded the company a 50-MW supply order for a project in Croatia.

Nordex will supply and install 10 units of its N149/4.X turbines from the Delta4000 series for a wind park that is being built in the municipality of Gracac.

The German company will initiate the installation process next summer and expects to commission the plant at the end of 2023. It has been contracted to provide maintenance services for a period of 20 years, with a 10-year extension option available.

Earlier this year, Nordex won a contract to supply 25 N149/5.X turbines for a 137-MW wind project near the Dalmatian coast in Croatia. Together with the latest order, the German company will reach 500 MW of installed capacity in the country, including 312 MW of turbines that are already up and spinning.
