German renewables developer PNE recruits Heiko Wuttke as new CEO
Sep 20, 2024 14:12 CEST(ADPnews) - Apr 19, 2011 - German shipbuilder Nordic Yards said on Monday it has won an order from Siemens Energy, part of Siemens AG (ETR:SIE), to build a second offshore platform.
The construction of the platform, which will be part of the HelWin1 wind park project, will be launched at the end of May 2011, the company said.
The new platform is expected to be transferred to Siemens for test operation at the end of January 2013.
In July 2010, Nordic Yards had received an order from Siemens Energy to build and install a so-called offshore power converter platform. Construction of this platform will start on May 2, 2011.
