European Energy wins EUR-50m EU grant for Danish e-methanol project
Oct 24, 2024 8:20 CESTJan 21, 2013 - Danish biotech company Novozymes A/S (CPH:NZYM B) said today it had promoted Peder Holk Nielsen to the post of president and chief executive officer, effective April 1, 2013.
Nielsen currently serves as executive vice president and head of enzyme business at Novozymes. Prior to taking this position in 2007, Nielsen held various management positions in business development, research and development, quality management and sales and marketing at Novozymes and Novo Industri/Novo Nordisk.
Nielsen succeeds Steen Riisgaard, who will step down after heading the company for 12 years.
Additionally, Novozymes will restructure its entire executive management as of April 1, 2013 and will promote Andrew Fordyce, currently serving as vice president of sales and customer solutions, to executive vice president.
Novozymes produces enzymes used in biofuels production.
