Swedish renewables developer OX2 AB on Thursday said it has secured an asset management agreement for the 211-MW Piiparinmaki wind farm in Finland from Nuveen Infrastructure, formerly Glennmont Partners from Nuveen, the private infrastructure investment unit of asset manager Nuveen.

OX2, which is now owned by private equity investor EQT, will be in charge of the technical, commercial and financial management of the large wind farm.

The 41-turbine facility, built by Finnish renewable energy company Ilmatar Energy Oy, was inaugurated in 2022. Its annual generation is around 700 GWh.

OX2 said the contract extends its collaboartion with Nuveen Infrastructure, marking the 20th asset in its current management portfolio which is not developed and constructed by the company.

OX2 manages a total of 1,090 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 5.5 GW. Besides running wind farms, the company is also involved in the management of solar farms and energy storage systems.
