EIB to support construction of 62-MW wind farm in Austria
Sep 11, 2024 16:41 CESTThe municipal council in Bruck an der Leitha, in eastern Austria, has approved a 200-MW electrolysis project of energy giant OMV AG (VIE:OMV), the regional branch of the Austrian Green Party said on Tuesday.
For the project, 8 hectares of green land were rezoned into a special construction area. The plant, to be located in the town of Wilfleinsdorf in Lower Austria state, will use electricity from renewable energy sources such as wind farms, hydropower and biomass facilities.
