Swedish renewables developer OX2 AB (STO:OX2) said today it has handed over the 62.5-MW Wysoka wind farm in Poland to the investment arm of Ingka Group, the largest IKEA franchisee.

The wind farm in the central Greater Poland province comprises 11 turbines of 5.5 MW-5.7 MW each. Their estimated annual production of 180 GWh can meet the electricity demand of 90,000 households.

Inka Investment bought the Wysoka farm from OX2 as a ready-to-build facility in 2022 but OX2 remained involved in the project as a turnkey developer. Now it will be responsible for its technical and commercial management.

At the end of the third quarter, OX2 was constructing nine projects in five markets with a total capacity of about 1,100 MW, the company pointed out.
