Swedish renewable energy developer OX2 AB (STO:OX2) on Tuesday said it has has sold two solar projects in Australia, totalling 137 MWp/105 MW AC, to Danish renewables developer European Energy A/S.

The deal includes the project rights for the 106-MWp/80-MW AC Lancaster solar farm in Victoria and the 31-MWp/25-MW AC Mulwala solar farm in New South Wales.

Both projects are slated to come online during 2026. Together, they are expected to generate about 255 GWh a year, equivalent to the consumption of about 54,000 Australian households, the Swedish firm estimates.

This transaction comes on the heels of OX2’s recent sale of a solar farm in Victoria. After these deals, OX2, which has been operating in Australia since 2023, will have a development portfolio of 1,185 MW in the country.

European Energy broke ground on its first project in Australia, a 56-MW solar park in the state of Victoria, in March.
