Swedish renewables developer OX2 AB’s (STO:OX2) will manage three onshore wind farms in Poland with a combined capacity of 142 MW that are owned by Polish oil refiner Orlen SA (WSE:PKN).

OX2 said on Wednesday it has signed an asset management agreement with Orlen for the Ujazd, Dobrzyca and Wielkopolska wind farms, which feature 15, 19 and 15 turbines, respectively. The wind power facilities were acquired by Orlen in 2023. OX2 will be responsible for providing technical, commercial and financial management for the assets.

The Swedish company says it currently manages more than 5 GW of assets comprising over 1,000 wind turbines, as well as several solar and battery energy storage systems. The assets are spread across Poland, Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, Italy and Australia.

In May, Swedish private equity firm EQT AB (STO:EQT) announced a recommended offer to acquire OX2.
