Renewable energy developer Massader has kicked off a tender for the supply and installation of a solar photovoltaic (PV) module assembly line in Palestine.

Eligible and qualified suppliers that are interested in taking part in this process can submit their bids by September 15, 2021. The contract will be awarded to the one that makes “the lowest responsive offer”, as stated in the Request for Quotation (RfQ).

Massader is the natural resources and infrastructure development arm of the Palestine Investment Fund (PIF). It is engaged in the development of utility-scale projects and also has two programmes dedicated to rooftop installations and deployments for public schools.

The PIF unit was responsible for the realisation of the first solar park in the Palestinian Territories. The project named Jericho was completed in 2019 and has a capacity of 7.5 MW.
