Qair’s Green Switch wins permit for 50-MW British PV park
Sep 20, 2024 5:48 CESTSep 14, 2011 - German solar photovoltaic systems specialist Payom Solar AG (ETR:P1Y) said today its UK unit Solen Energy received a EUR 10 million (USD 13.7m) order from British sector player Pinnacle Solar.
The contract envisages the delivery of completely pre-assembled solar kits with a capacity of between 2.3 kW and 4 kW by 2012. The total capacity of the ordered systems will be 6 MW, Payom said.
The company strategy of selling small-scale installation on the high-margin UK market has proved a success, Payom's chaiman, Daniel Grosch, pointed out, adding that Solen has sold 12 MW in the last few weeks.
