Cero reaches commercial operations at 100-MW solar farm in Greece
Sep 02, 2024 15:01 CESTFeb 27, 2013 - German solar power company Phoenix Solar AG (ETR:PS4) said today its Greek subsidiary was to wrap up in the first quarter of this year two photovoltaic (PV) parks with a combined capacity of 2.5 MW in Greece.
The two ground-mounted solar parks of Phoenix Solar EPE will have peak capacities of 1.5 MW and 1 MW and are located in the Greek regions of Lakonia and Etoloakarnania, respectively. The projects have been under development since 2010.
Christos Protogeropoulos, Phoenix Solar EPE’s general manager, said that the company had installed over 8 MW of ground-mounted solar capacity in Greece in 2012 and that another 7 MW would be installed this year.
