Elawan bags Google PPA for 37-MW solar project in Texas
Sep 19, 2024 13:49 CEST(ADPnews) - Apr 29, 2011 - US solar modules maker Phono Solar said today it had completed a USD-2.8-million (EUR 1.9m) project at the San Bernardino international airport in California, which included a 632-kW solar power installation.
The solar power facility was built with 2,688 Phono Solar mono-crystalline panels, each with a capacity of 240 W. The project, completed in eight months, also included a new parking structure.
During the first month of operation, the solar power system produced 52,000 kWh of power, saving 4,065 gallons (15,400 litres) of gas or 35 tonnes of carbon dioxide.
