PNE AG (ETR:PNE3) said on Wednesday that both its projects participating in the latest tender round for onshore wind energy in Germany have won contracts for a combined 24 MW.

The successful projects, Gnutz-Ost and Helenenberg, are scheduled to go into construction or operation in 2025. The Gnutz-Ost plant will consist of 3 wind turbines with a total capacity of 18 MW. The wind farm is currently being built in the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany.

The Helenenberg facility will be erected in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate in southwestern Germany. It will be made of one wind turbine with an output of 6 MW.

In the latest tender round, Germany selected 230 projects with a combined capacity of 2,723 MW, registering the first oversubscribed auction in the category for more than two years.

Including the previous two rounds in February and May, PNG has secured contracts for a total of nine wind farm projects with a combined capacity of 141.9 MW.
