Poland's Erbud hired for works on Baltyk 3 offshore wind project

Polish builder Erbud (WSE:ERB) has been hired by Hitachi Energy Poland for construction works on the 720 MW Baltyk 3 offshore wind project developed by local Polenergia (WSE:PEP) and Norway's Equinor (OSE:EQNR).

The deal worth PLN 89.2 million (USD 22.3m/EUR 20.5m) foresees subcontracting construction works, including earthworks, steel and reinforced concrete structures, water and sewage networks, as part of the connection infrastructure of Bałtyk 3 on the shore of the Baltic Sea.

The contract is effective from the date of its signing to July 30, 2027.

This is the second significant contract signed with Hitachi Energy Poland this year, Erbud noted. In July it was assigned civil works of the same scope for the 720 MW Baltyk 2 offshore wind farm project of Polenergia and Equinor.
