Polish, Spanish investors to build wind farms in Serbia's Mali Idjos

Polish company V-Ridium Wind and Spain's Ecoener have applied for the construction of two wind farms in Mali Idjos, northern Serbia, a document posted on the website of Mali Idjos municipality showed on Wednesday.

V-Ridium Wind considers building a 300 MW wind farm with 50 turbines on an area of ​​about 5,720 hectares, while Ecoener plans to construct a 90 MW wind farm with 21 wind turbines, according to detailed regulation plans posted on the website of Mali Idjos municipalities.

The plan of V-Ridium Wind envisages the construction of a power substation and 400 kV transmission line to connect to the system of EMS.

Ecoener also envisages the construction of a power substation and a 110 kV transmission line, the plan showed.

V-Ridium Wind and Ecoener will participate in the projects through their Serbian subsidiaries WPP West Wind and Ecoener Wind Power, respectively.
