KKR fund increases tender offer price for Greenvolt
Sep 19, 2024 15:32 CESTFeb 10, 2014 - Portugal and India will cooperate in renewable energy projects in the two countries, Portugal's environment and energy minister Jorge Moreira da Silva said last week.
The countries will jointly develop wave energy and geothermal projects in India and solar energy projects in Portugal, the minister specified.
There are opportunities for the Portuguese companies since the Indian government intends to double its renewable energy capacity by 2017, Silva added.
Portugal and India held a bilateral renewable energy forum on Thursday. The countries are getting ready to sign a memorandum of understanding aimed at laying the foundations for future political, economic and technical cooperation between enterprises.
