Portugal's Martifer Solar completes 1.5 MW solar park in Romania

Portuguese group Martifer has competed a 1.5 megawatt solar park in Romania's southeastern county of Vrancea, the group's local unit said on Wednesday.

The facility, located in Pufesti, will be officially opened on September 5, a Martifer Solar Romania official who declined to be named told SeeNews.

The park covers an area of 4.0 hectares and consist of 6,600 panels, according to information on the website of the project's developer, Denmark's Eurowind Energy.

Eurowind Energy said it cooperated on the project with Martifer Solar which was the supplier of Mprime 240Wp class photovoltaic modules.

The solar farm in Pufesti was able to deliver power to the Romanian grid for the first time on August 2, Eurowind Energy said.
