World set to install 593 GW of new solar in 2024 - Ember
Sep 19, 2024 13:28 CESTFinnish consulting and engineering firm Poyry Plc (HEL:POY1V) said on Monday it has won a job on the 16-MW Verde Vale 3 solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant in the Brazilian state of Bahia.
Energy company Vientos Solutions LLC has contracted Poyry to provide project management and engineering consulting services to support the construction of the particular solar park. Building works have already been initiated with the goal of commencing power generation by the end of July 2018.
The Verde Vale 3 facility has a 10-year energy purchase agreement that was awarded to it at the 2015 energy auction held by ANEEL.
Poyry said that this is its second solar contract in the state of Bahia after in 2017 it provided similar services for the Assurua Geradora de Energia Solar PV project.
