Elawan bags Google PPA for 37-MW solar project in Texas
Sep 19, 2024 13:49 CESTUS speciality contracting services provider Primoris Services Corporation (NASDAQ:PRIM) has secured contracts to build three utility-scale solar facilities with a combined generation capacity of over 1.4 GW in southwestern US.
The awards are for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services with a combined estimated value of around USD 770 million (EUR 702.9m), according to a Tuesday press release.
Initial construction works on the first project are scheduled to kick off in the third quarter of 2023, while for the other two -- in the third quarter of 2025.
Primoris is a specialty contractor providing critical infrastructure services to the utility, energy and renewables markets throughout the US and Canada. In April, the company received awards for a couple of domestic renewable energy projects valued at more than USD 200 million.
