Sonnedix buys 80-MW solar farm in Italy, more purchases to follow
Sep 19, 2024 14:32 CESTFeb 20, 2013 – A group of six solar plants with combined capacity of 6 MW have been installed in Puglia, Southern Italy, oekonews.at reported yesterday.
The owner and operator of the solar facilities is German Solar 8.
The plants boast of concentrated solar power (CPV) technology, as well as poly- and mono-crystalline modules. A total of 250 inverters of Dutch solar inverter maker Mastervolt have been deployed for the plant and module technology.
Solar 8 manufactured the single and dual axis trackers in the project.
