French independent renewable power producer Qair has officially marked the commissioning of its 10-MW Pakosc solar photovoltaic (PV) park in Poland.

The plant’s energisation has lifted Qair Polska’s total installed capacity in Poland to 398 MW, the parent company said in a LinkedIn post on Friday.

The Pakosc solar farm is located in the Inowrocław district of mid-northern Poland’s Kujawsko-Pomorskie province and was installed by Polish renewables-focused general contractor Onde SA. The latter was last year hired to build a trio of PV parks for Qair Polska totalling 120 MW. Paczkow is the smallest one in the specific portfolio, which also includes the 80-MW Golczewo PV project in the West Pomeranian province and a 30-MW project in central Wielkopolskie province.

The two other plants in the three-project bundle are expected to go online over the next few months, Qair said.

Paris-based Qair has been operating in Poland since 2015 and is currently working on the development of an over 5-GW portfolio of wind and solar PV projects.
